Needham Petanque
The new Needham Petanque court at the Red Lion held its inaugural match during August. It was a fantastic sunny afternoon with plenty of locals turning out to take part. It was a huge amount of fun and everyone was both encouraged and welcomed to take part. The nature of the game means that all ages and skill levels can play together which makes it even more fun.
Get down to the Red Lion and give it a go and see if we can make this the start of a Needham Petanque Team. Trust me, there were many more bad players than good, which made it all the more fun!

Needham Village Christmas Meal
14th of December at 7pm. John Groom is catering and there will be a bar. Last year’s meal was really enjoyable so make sure you SAVE THE DATE! Details to follow.....

Any one from the village with young children in their lives is invited to join me for a informal chat about the playground at the Village Hall. This is to see who would like to be part of a community group to work on how we can improve and maintain the playground to provide a fun place for the young people in the village.
