Carpet Bowls

Since our last report the Winter League has been completed.

We were invited by Cratfield to play a friendly match and nine members from our club enjoyed a very pleasant evening there. We will be arranging a return match at Needham during the summer.

We also received an invitation to attend the presentation and social evening of the Waveney League which was held at Shelfanger village hall on Friday 25^th May. It was a really enjoyable evening.  However, only four members from our club went and it would be appreciated if members were more supportive.  The ladies’ singles competition was won by Jane Debattista and the gents’ singles was won by Brian Carlile.

Our club evenings are held every Wednesday starting at 7:30pm.  Fees are only £1.50 per evening and this includes tea /coffee and biscuits.  We are a very friendly club and would welcome new members.  All equipment is provided so do come along and join us.
