Based on the true story of Louise Gold, the drama is set during WW11 on the Nazi-occupied island of Jersey.  Louise (Jenny Seagrove), takes in and hides an escaped Russian P.O.W. As the island community’s spirit begins to fray, Louise fights to preserve her family’s sense of humanity and to protect the Russian boy as if he were her own.
