Needham Village Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
Inside this edition of The Link you will find your commemorative programme for Needham Village’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Saturday 2 June. There will be a prize of a John Lewis voucher for one lucky programme number holder who comes to the tea!
This is a great opportunity for everyone in the village to get together to celebrate this once in a lifetime event. Tea, sandwiches and cakes will be provided free of charge after which there will be a BBQ starting at 5pm. There will be a licensed bar and live music.
It is hoped that enough money will be raised by the Auction of Promises and the BBQ to buy two benches for the village. There will also be a new tree planted in the grounds of the Village Hall.

Come dressed for the occasion! There will be prizes for the best home made crown and for the most stylish Jubilee/Coronation/50’s outfit.
We are still hoping for a good number of entries to this event.
The four age categories are: 6 and under, 7-12, 13-18, 19 and over. The art work which can be in any medium should be A4 size and anything to do with Needham and/or the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The closing date for entries is Thursday 31 May. Please submit your entry to the Editor at Mill Farm Cottage. Don’t forget to put your name and age category on the back!
